1. Introduction
Welcome to Baked By Skye! By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
2. Products and Services
2.1. Baked By Skye specialises in novelty cakes and baked goods. All products are made to order, and customisation is available upon request.
2.2. Images of cakes on our website are for illustration purposes only. The final product may vary due to the handmade nature of our goods.
3. Orders and Payment
3.1. Orders can be placed through our website or by contacting us directly.
3.2. Full payment is required at the time of placing the order. Payment methods accepted include Electronic Payments and online payments.
3.3. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3.4. Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
4. Customisation and Special Requests
4.1. Custom orders must be placed at least [7] days in advance.
4.2. Website orders can be placed 2-5 days in advance.
4.3. All customisation requests should be clearly communicated at the time of placing the order. We will not be responsible for any errors if the information provided is incorrect.
4.4. Additional charges may apply for custom designs, special ingredients, or other requests.
5. Delivery and Pick-Up
5.1. Delivery is available within Durban for an additional fee.
5.2. Delivery dates and times are estimates and may be subject to delays beyond our control.
5.3. Customers may also choose to pick up their orders from our location. Pick-up times must be scheduled in advance.
5.4. We are not liable for any damages to cakes once they have been delivered or picked up.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1. Due to the nature of our business, we do not provide and refunds for any cancellations.
6.2. If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your cake. We will do our best to resolve any issues, but refunds or replacements will be at our discretion.
7. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
7.1. While we take great care in the preparation of our cakes, we cannot guarantee that our products are free from allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, and others.
7.2. Customers are responsible for informing us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of ordering.
7.3. We will not be liable for any allergic reactions or health issues caused by our products.
